Grade 2 have been learning about dinosaurs with Ms. Allison and Ms. Finn. As such, in art, we learned a little bit more about the ammonites, an ocean animal that lived during the age of the dinosaurs. Here is a great video on how an ammonite fossil is formed!

The Grade 3 and Transitions classes did a great job creating these interesting figure sculptures inspired by Alberto Giacometti. The students used wire, clay, plaster bandage and paint in the creation of these artworks. Well done!

Grade 2 started this project as part of their Heritage Week exploration of China. It's taken a bit of time, but we finally managed to complete the project! It looks amazing!
