St. Gabriel School offers students a rich and varied educational experience. Constantly striving to open minds and broaden horizons, traditional academics are supported by supplemental and extra-curricular activities that engage and challenge students. Children will develop self-esteem, self-awareness and self-discipline to become responsible individuals. Teachers, parents and other school personnel share the responsibility of the stdents educational, social and moral growth.

Art in the School!

Visual Arts Classes- Grade 1 to 6

The Visual Arts program at St. Gabriel School is based on the requirements of the Québec Education Program (QEP). Cycle 1 in English, Cycle 2 & 3 bilingual.

Drama Classes- Grade 3 to 6

My Drama program at St. Gabriel School is based on the requirements of the Québec Education Program (QEP). During the first half of the year, students explore dramatic elements through individual and group activities. During the second half of the year, students put their knowledge to use in the creation of a final production

Special Projects

Special projects include: cross-curricular collaborations with other teachers, art for special events or school initiatives, set and prop creation for class plays and our Arts Festival. 

Art Club 

 

Art Club offers students the opportunity to engage with a variety of techniques that might not be covered in the regular art program- examples include: sewing, stencilling, zine creation and book binding. Art Club students will also help with the beautification of the school for special events and initiatives.
