Grade 6: Suminagashi- Japanese Paper Marbling

In prepration for Heritage Week the grade 6 class is exploring the country and culture of Japan. As such, in art class we explored the ancient and beautiful art of Suminagashi (Japanese paper marbling). Next step: delicately painting cherry blossom branches on our stunning marbled paper.
